Tinson Training has done a number of Electrical Awareness courses over the years for a UK division of a global stationery supplier. One in particular sticks in my mind because it is a reminder that what we do is really worthwhile.
I had arrived to present another bespoke onsite course and the group was assembling when a previous attendee approached. He told me that before he took my course he knew practically nothing but now he knew what to do, what not to do, and was confident in his abilities. He ended by giving that day’s attendees a strong recommendation for what they were about to experience. It was a joy to see.
Giving people the knowledge they need to do their work well and safely is what it is all about.
